Where to Shop
Resell groups: Renn Shop and Exchange, All Eras Costuming Swap and Shop, and more on Facebook
Shop at your local Renaissance Festival, and Amazon has some decent outfits and accessories as well (be mindful to avoid cheap looking costumes)
What to Avoid
No Halloween Costumes - Please avoid cheap pre-packaged costumes from places like Spirit or Party City.
Extreme Fantasy - Please don’t wear elf ears, wings, prosthetics, masks, etc.
Barbarian or Viking - Viking outfits are a bit too casual for this wedding, unless you have a formal one!
Stiletto heels - The garden grounds are gravel, grass, and mulched paths, so wedges or flat shoes are going to serve you better! That said: if you’re most comfortable in heels, you do you!
Be mindful of shipping dates so you don’t receive your outfit after the wedding!
Unfortunately, our venue does not allow ANY kinds of weapons, even costume weapons like swords and daggers, on the premises. Please do not violate their policies.
What if I don’t Want to Dress the Theme?
If you don’t want to match the theme, please wear something semi-formal.
